Description
Local public companies (Epl) operate at the heart of urban and rural development by reconciling the satisfaction of the general interest and the advantages of the company while relying on local resources. Their credo? Serving the public, under the impetus and control of local authorities.
Since its creation in 1956, FedEpl has brought together 13,000 elected officials from all over France and from all political backgrounds around the choice they have made to exercise their local responsibilities by using the solution of companies owned by their local authorities, and which they govern. It is affiliated to the European network of 32,000 local public companies represented by SGI Europe, the European grouping of employers and companies providing public services.
