Description
ADIRA (Association for Digital and IT in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region) is a non-profit association founded in 1969, at the initiative of the Rhône-Alpes Chamber of Commerce and Industry and MEDEF, in close connection with the universities and academic authorities of the Academy.
Created simultaneously in Lyon and Grenoble, it has supported the region's digital transformation since its inception.
Pioneering and independent, ADIRA has always had the mission to promote and develop technologies related to information systems, with complete neutrality towards brands and without dependence on public funding. This freedom of action is at the heart of its governance: transparency, openness, and straightforward communication.
For over 50 years, the association has brought together IT and digital generalists, experts, and users. It relies on the richness of their exchanges, the strength of collective intelligence, and the dynamism of innovation to build an open, friendly, and resolutely future-oriented ecosystem.
